Revd MX Dladla - AEC President

Greetings in Jesus Name! We are grateful to God for allowing us to enter the year 2025. Many of our friends and relatives left us in the year 2024. When God gives us life, He wants us to fulfill certain purpose in this world. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on…” (Revelation 14:13). As Africa Evangelical Church, Southern Africa we held our Annual General Church Conference (AGCC) on the 16-20 December 2024 in the Kingdom of ESwatini (Matsapha). It was my honour to welcome folks from Botswana, ESwatini and South Africa in their numbers. The excitement and jubilation in the presence of the Lord was so evident. It was also our honour to ordain ten Pastors who accepted God’s calling and who are willing to serve God under this denomination. We would like to appreciate all our members at large for their heartfelt dedication to the progress and growth of our denomination. The attendance was so amazing. We appreciate our Regions for various appreciation services offered to the retiring Pastors who have served the Lord well for many years.

We are grateful to God for all the Speakers who were able to preach on our 2025 theme: “Answering the Call” our 2025-year verse is taken from Matthew 9:38 “So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into His field.” (NLT). All believers are ordered to have the same compassion that Christ had for unbelievers. We must all answer to the call into God’s harvest field. We must also pray for all those who have not given their lives to Jesus. We can not stop reaching out to those who are distressed, those who are confused and those who are deep in sinful life. In Matthew 9:38, we are reminded of the urgency and importance of prayer in our mission to spread love and compassion throughout the world. Jesus instructs us to pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest field. This call transcends time and culture, challenging each of us to recognize our role in the great work of the Kingdom.

As we reflect on this verse, let us unite in prayer, asking God to raise up laborers who are willing to go into all corners of the earth, sharing the message of hope and salvation. The world is in desperate need of healing, love, and truth, and we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. Each of us has a part to play, whether through direct involvement in ministry, supporting missionaries, or simply living out our faith in our daily lives. Let us not be passive observers but active participants in God's mission. May we embrace this calling with open hearts and a willingness to serve, trusting that as we pray and act, God will equip us and send us forth to make a difference in the lives of those around us. Together, let us be a light in the darkness, a beacon of hope, as we work towards the fulfilment of His great commission. As a denomination, we are still determined to see our Conference Centre project being finalized in ESwatini (Mankayane). When you visit our web page, do go to gallery and go to “Building of conference centre.”  We therefore urge all members to send their donations towards Conference Center fund.

The denomination will focus on issues of Missions and Development in 2025. We want to reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We appreciate all those who visit our web page. Our prayers are with you all, to know Christ and make Him known.

God Bless you
