A brief communique

1  Introduction

The new Board of the Africa Evangelical Church commenced its duties in February 2023. We salute our predecessor President Rev P Mntambo, who has led with his crew of leaders of the church during the difficult times of the Covid 19 Pandemic. The Board and all Structures of the Denomination are pleased to take the leadership during the post-Covid period; however, we are cognizant of the fact that challenges are always there and come in different phases. 

2  The 61st Anniversary of the AEC: 8th July 2023

As AEC Southern Africa, on the 8th of July 2023 we are proud to have witnessed the 61st Anniversary since the Church was given autonomy in 1962. The church that was founded in 1889 by the interdenominational Mission organization in Cape Town. We are very grateful to our God for leading us thus far. We are the product of Missions and we would like reach out to the world with the same good news – that the Saviour came that we might live!
